Our History
Pytheas Seafood operates in the field of production, processing, and trade of salted fish products in Greece and abroad. The company’s headquarters are located in Triada, Evia, where its production facility is based, housing the tarama production unit, smoked seafood products, as well as the processing line for salted cod.
A fundamental founding objective of Pytheas Seafood, which differentiates it from its competitors, is its long-standing leadership in the sector, achieved through continuous investment in modern technological equipment and the implementation of best-practice quality control procedures by experienced and highly trained personnel.
The company is owned by the Lyberopoulos family, as well as by the Icelandic group active in fishing and seafood processing, VISIR HF.
